The Money Making Secret to Blogging

Is there a Money Making Secret to Blogging?

money making secretsIf you have ever tried to setup, design, maintain and run a wordpress self-hosted blog (the best type of blog you can have by the way, since you’re in control of it, you own it, plus Google loves it), you know it can be a bit of a nightmare if you’ve attempted it before.

Of course, if you’re someone interested in staying relevant, keeping up with the times or maybe have an interest in getting ahead, providing future security and stability for your family or want to increase your lifestyle, it’s no money making secret that having an online presence today is virtually a must.  Afterall, we have definitely entered the Information Age, and the internet is at the heart of it.  The typical 9-5 job is becoming a thing of the past with the rising cost of living, higher and higher unemployment, increasing taxes, erratic stock market and declining house prices…

Going forward, it’s going to be more and more important to add additional streams of income to your household to give you protection, security but also freedom to do what you want, when you want.  In times like these, you don’t want to end up having to depend on an irrelevant, broken system.  You want to have a plan in place to begin taking control of your income and your life one income stream at a time.

So why blogging?  What exactly is the money making secret to blogging?

Social Media is great, having a twitter account, a LinkedIn account, a facebook account, a Google Plus account is all great.  That’s where people hang out and communicate.  But if you want to make money online, you need a proper presence where you can direct people to, where you’re in control (and can limit the distractions of those social network pages and control the content), where you can stand out from the crowd and become someone of authority, where you can direct people to follow a certain path (capture their contact information and lead them into a quality funded proposal or funnel) and ultimately create income, moving you closer to creating wealth.

You see, once a visitor comes to your blog and leaves their information in exchange for the incentive you offer them (something of value you give them for free – see my free ebook that I created on offer on the top right of this page), your integrated funnel system now takes over and begins marketing to your website visitors automatically via email to help edify your visitors on who you are and what you’re about, providing them with additional information and valuable content to help them solve the issues they are dealing with, all the while creating rapport and developing a relationship with your visitors automatically.  These emails are created ahead of time and go out every so many days keeping in touch with your visitors and eventually exposing them to whatever beneficial products, services, programs, opportunities that you want.

Bottom line, if you plan on increasing your income or creating wealth now or in the future, you need an established online presence, and there’s no better solution than to have your own blog.

One Last Money Making Secret on Blogging

Up until now, the only problem with a blog was the amount of time, technical ability, patience, resilience and persistence required to get a self-hosted wordpress blog setup and running.  With having to get a domain name, hosting, installing the wordpress software, figuring out which plugins you need, configuring the theme, setting up widgets, designing the blog… many people were turned off, even though the rewards are definitely worth the effort.  It just seemed to difficult or even impossible for newbies to even get started.

The good news is that today, you can still go the old route and spend the time and effort to learn through trial and error how to setup your own blog like I’ve done with this blog on creating wealth and wealth secrets, OR bypass virtually all of that and get a blog setup and running fast so you can focus on marketing your blog, getting the word out there and making home based income for only $25.  I have created marketing blogs for other people and businesses because I spent the weeks and months to learn how to do it all myself, and the cost for the blogs I’ve set up run as high as $2,000 just to get setup (visit http://HuntsvilleTornadoShelters.com to give you an idea of what I’m talking about).

If I was looking at setting up my first blog today – or even if I had already attempted to start my own blog previously but just couldn’t get it working right – I’d easily spend the $25 to save the weeks and months (or $2,000 to have someone else set me up) so I could focus instead on the activities that bring in money, like marketing and driving traffic using this money making secret.  Of course, for $25 you get access to all that training as well plus a few additional built-in income streams where people are giving you their credit cards and the money goes straight into your bank account the same day (100% commissions, no middle man/men what so ever)…

I wish this setup was around when I first started marketing online, of course then I may not have been able to make a couple thousand dollars setting up blogs and marketing websites for others either… (Last money making secret: If you’d rather I set you up a blog or marketing site for $2,000 rather than spending the $25, I’m more than happy to oblige!  Just let me know 😉

Admiring the time and effort you put into your website and in depth information you offer.
It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same old rehashed information.
Excellent read! I’ve saved your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.

I know isn’t easy but this article makes me rethink my ideas about blogging.

  • They are getting rich selling their system to get rich to the down and out and those who have their heads in the clouds and have that million the infomercial promises they will make already spent.

  • Thanks Hans for great article!

I agree that having mailing list is very importnat for online business. I created few mailing lists and I see many benefits.

What kind of autoresponder do you suggest?

  • Setting up blogs properly and pushing initial content out takes a great deal of time and effort. It usually takes me months to get things going on a new blog. The good thing is that I love setting up blogs that’s why I don’t mind doing it for hours on end.

My mentor has advised me though to try to balance time spent on tasks I like and money making activities. Even if I enjoy blog creation more than anything else, I need to outsource some of it to someone else so I can focus on marketing. 🙁

  • Great article and advice Hans. I’m about to celebrate the first anniversary of my blog and I agree with you about the challenges and the benefits, but there is also a lot of fun along the way when we open ourselves to enjoying the process … when you finally see your site all set up and active for the first time, when you first get to the point of “trusting” your own judgement instead of constantly looking to the ‘gurus’, when you see how many people in other countries are actually reading your stuff … and of course every new subscriber.

Hey Marty, you are absolutely right about that feeling of accomplishment for getting a blog setup on your own. Its one hell of a learning experience, and learning from the ground up is the best way to learn for those who are willing to put in the time and effort. Having someone else setup the basics of your blog for you though sure does make it enjoyable as well, and a whole lot quicker! Thanks for your comments Marty!

  • This blog is inspiring. I can see blogging is “IN” nowadays. Any other tips on how to keep my blog running?

The most important thing is to just continue to post regular high-value content on a regular consistent basis. That in itself will give you better results than almost anything else you can do (assuming you are also promoting that content as well). Set a goal to write a blog post a day for 100 days and just watch how many leads and sales you’ll be generating. Pretty simple yet most people will not do it for even 30 days, let alone 100. I challenge you to do it for 100 days!
