Hello Hans, I was listening to a call talking about creating financial wealth the other day. There was a great example given for one of the benefits to keeping track of your income and expenses. this is the example – a couple decided they wanted to invest in real estate, so they looked at their P & L statement to see what expenses they might be able to cut down on. They decided to stop going to the gym, and instead they walked every night for exercise. With the money they saved, they invested in real estate, a year later sold the property and made a large profit.

That’s just one example of the benefits of carrying out Hans recommendation! Thanks for all your information Hans. Regards from Julieanne

Hey Hans this is a great post. I find it hard to believe that there is anyone who would not like more wealth.

However, I have been preaching myself about the difference between having a big income and having wealth. The two are not the same. If you have a big income but spend it all you will never become financially independent.

    • Hey Trevor, great point. Having a big income is great, but if you’re having to sacrifice time with your family, friends, church, charities, social life, exercise, health… what’s the point? There’s more to life than just money, that’s why it’s important to focus more on financial independence than just creating a big income. Financial independence can give you your time back WITH money. Thanks for sharing Trevor

    Hans,

I like what Nicholas says about investing by helping others. It is masterful.

Passive income is a wonderful principle, however most would do better with leveraged income, either people at work for you or money at work for you. (I would assume though that most don’t have a couple mil lying around waiting to be invested.) Leveraged income is putting in one effort and getting out multiple efforts. Passive is having done the work once you get paid over and over. MLM is a form of both.

    Thanks for sparking the discussion.

    RICK

    • I agree with you. Creating passive income is not easy; it’s much easier to create earned income. That being said, you can leverage your income so that you’re making more per hour for example so that you’re able to outsource some other smaller or less productive activities to make your time go further. It is a great step towards creating passive income.

    Hey Hans,

As always, your blog post about wealth creation is very interesting and at many times it creates curiosity 🙂 I always like to learn your style of teaching people how to create wealth because I know that one day I should be able to write more on such topic. Reason being that this is my favorite habit and I love creating wealth but am not good in providing tips.

I would like to thank you for sharing your post and also would want you to know that I am going after your making Monet secret tips 🙂

    Cheers
    Pearly

    • Hey Pearly, appreciate your great comments as always! Curiosity pushes us to want to learn more, to grow. And like Jim Rohn says about money, it’s a great place to start if you’re looking to improve your life because money is easy to count, easy to measure. Other areas of our lives can be more complicated, more difficult to count. So why not start with money and creating wealth? 🙂

What a valuable perspective. I have heard it said that the more people you help, the more you will receive yourself, but I have not really thought of this as investing. Thanks for sharing some important information about wealth building.

  • Hey Carla, cash is definitely better than no cash! But to further clarify, not all cash is created equally! Earned income that you have to keep working for is just that. Passive income or true “cash” flow is the kind of cash that can set you free so you can stop working if you want or create even more “cash” flow and increase your lifestyle further. Thanks for the comment!

  • 3 years ago we attended Loral Langemeiers Big Table coaching.

Loral has a phrase, “fastest path to cash”.

When you find your fastest path to cash that is what can keep you going. It’s not a business if it’s not bringing in some cash, it’s just a hobby.

that was a tough lesson for me to learn, but learn it I did! Thank goodness.
